The Wing Mission Game

A game taught to me by our former friends in Denmark. To play, you need:

  • a wingman

The game is played like this:

  1. One person starts giving the other person a mission. This mission is preferably something to push the person out of the comfort zone.
  2. If the person given the mission can do it, switch places and go to 1.
  3. If the person given the mission is unable to do it, the person who gave the mission does it. If the person who originally gave the mission is unable to do it, switch places and go to 1.
  4. The person given the mission owes the person who gave the mission one serving of leverage. Alternatively, you can score points, and decide who’s the winner after a designated amount of time.

In other words: Decide on a piece of leverage (a beer, $5, a backrub, whatever floats your boat). Person A gives Person B a mission. If B is unable to do it and A is unable to do it, switch A and B and start again. If B is able to do it, switch A and B and do it again. If B is unable but A is able, B owes A previously decided leverage.

What to expect from the game:

  • You’ll get in state quickly
  • You’ll push yourself further
  • You’ll find that things you didn’t think you could do, you can actually do with ease

Happy gametime! Go out in field with your favorite wing, test it and write your experiences in the comment field. In a couple of days I’ll write up a quick field report describing how my wing ICON and I did first time testing this game. Smile We’ll give you some tips on which challenges you can do. I hope your comments will help inspire us to push further as well.
